You should know that the primary purpose of an inspection is to check whether the system is in good condition or not. One important thing to keep in mind during the inspection is that aside from the toilets, bathtubs, sinks, and showers, you also need to look at the laundry facilities, utility sinks, and the drainage as these are also parts of the system.

Check for signs of leaks particularly in exposed pipes. Make sure you look at the pipes that run through walls as well as through the foundation of your home. You should be looking for puddles of water under or below the pipes. Watermarks are also a sign of leaks that you should be looking for.
